Use transaction code CO40 to convert planned order to production order
This article introduces the way to convert planned order into production order by using transaction CO40

STEP 1 Get into transaction code CO40
Follow the SAP menu path “Logistics->Production->MRP->Planned Order->Convert to Prod.Ord->CO40 Individual Conversion”, then double-click the transaction code.
STEP 2 Input the planned order and the order type
You can see the screenshot below if you have any question. Note that if you want to split the quantity of the planned order into several parts to convert to different planned orders, you could select the check box of the field “Partial Conv.” Besides, if you encounter an error message such as “Scheduling parameters are not defined for production orders”, you can follow our article http://www.nicesap.com/pp-module/the-way-to-solve-the-error-scheduling-parameters-are-not-defined-for-production-orders-when-we-are-creating-production-orders.html to solve the error.
STEP 3 Genarate the production order
You will reach the screenshot below, check all of the settings are correct, save it.
You will see the production number SAP system give to you, this means you have created the production order successfully.
